Alisa Day-Kenyon Born into a family with a rich heritage of art and creativity, Alisa Day-Kenyon was raised in Ruidoso and studied fine art outside of Houston and at Texas Tech. With a background in Advertising and Graphic Design, and a passion of Vintage Advertising Art, she has developed her own unique style of bold, “in your face” humor. After painting everything from boats to billboards in Texas and churches to Sub-Zero refrigerators in Oklahoma and Arkansas, Alisa has resettled in Ruidoso. While dabbling in metal work, sculpture, and collage- her current thrust is on her “Chile Management Series”. Alisa creates and paints what she likes, and it seems a lot of other people like it too. Prints of Alisa’s work are available year-round at Josie’s Framery, 2917 Sudderth Dr., Ruidoso, New Mexico 88345. Alisa also participates in Treasures of Sierra Blanca Art Show, Mini’s at the Mill, Art in the Pines-studio tour & Art LoopŇ. |
