Julie Mineheine lives in Artesia, NM, and has resided in New Mexico for 3 years now. Julie moved down here from Minnesota, and was raised in Wisconsin where her father was a professional photographer for over 40 years.

Julie loves nature and tries to capture the simplicity of our natural surroundings.

She enjoys digital photography, and likes to turn her portraits into photo arts. Manipulation is one of the fun things about digital photography, although she tries not to overdo them.

Many of Jewel’s works are done on canvas, some are matted and framed.

Julie has sold many pieces and his displayed work at the Artesia Historical Museum, as well as in her dayspa in Artesia. Julie is also a cosmetologist, and owns Serenity Spa in Artesia.
