Michelle Romero
Such beautiful photographs! That is what is
often said by viewers when Michelle Romero’s work is displayed.
Take a second look, please. This work is all original. There are
no photographs involved when Michelle creates her images. She
utilizes digital means to paint life-like images with a spirit
of their own, each coming straight from her imagination. Her
subjects vary greatly, providing something for every taste. Her
current series of works consists of:
Angel Portraits-Angels portrayed in
different poses.
Devine Equine-Horses, up close and personal
Just wild-Wildlife
Of the Moon-Animal portraits combined with the beauty of the
full moon.
The Great West-Scenes representing the western lifestyle
(past and present).
The Tundra-An assortment of fantasy and realistic views of
tundra wildlife.
New Mexico Style- Black silhouette style images of familiar
southwest icons.
Landscapes in Color- Unlike her other series’ these subjects
are painted in full color.
Michelle is a self taught Native New
Mexican multi-media artist currently residing in Historic
Lincoln County. Her body of work consists of digital paintings
as well as pen and ink drawings, graphic designs, decorative
wood pieces and fine beaded jewelry to name a few.
