Art Loop

The Lincoln County Art Loop Tour will see its 16th year as a successful organization in 2011. It is an informal, ever-changing cooperative of working artists. Every July, on the first weekend following the fourth, they open their studios to the public for a self-guided tour to view their collected works. Some share space with one another that shortens the scenic trip through southeastern New Mexico. All offer extraordinary and unusual wares for perusal and purchase.

Lincoln County artists are as diverse as the spectacular landscape that surrounds them. That diversity is represented in the revolving membership of Art Loop, the oldest and most prestigious of local, self-guided studio tours. New artists are welcomed every year, and supportive alumnae remain in touch, often returning to exhibit yet again.

The many views of Sierra Blanca inspire the imagination, as does changing light on the Capitans, and wildlife at the window fills the heart with gratitude. Please come to experience the grace of southeastern New Mexico. Visit the artists on their home ground and partake of their collective endeavor.
