Olivia is an emerging artist from Ruidoso, New Mexico and was born in Dallas, Texas in 1985. She lives with her husband Shawn and her cat Mica. She has been interested in art since she was seven years of age and was in art classes during school for eight years. She was in Advanced Placement for the last two years of high school and am Adobe Photoshop certified.
Olivia’s main two influences are her husband and her teacher. “My husband is always supporting me in every way possible to make my dream come true by becoming a known artist.”
Her other influence is her high school art teacher Mr. Copeland of Alamogordo High School. “He is always open to new ideas that I have, and he always makes me feel that I am unique in so many ways.”
Olivia’s art is as unique as she is. She uses a wide variety of colors and mediums in every painting. She has been a number of art shows and is seeking further opportunities to broaden her career. She hopes that her paintings will be in art museums in the future.
